(B,L,D). Pilibhit Tiger Reserve - Pilibhit Tiger Reserve is located in Pilibhit district, Lakhimpur Kheri District and Bahraich District of Uttar Pradesh state in India. It lies along the India-Nepal border in the foothills of the Himalayas and the plains of the 'terai' in Uttar Pradesh. It is one of India's 50 Project Tiger Tiger reserves. Pilibhit is one of the few well forested districts in Uttar Pradesh. According to an estimate of year 2004, Pilibhit district has over 800 km2 (310 sq mi) forests, constituting roughly 23% of the district's total area. Forests in Pilibhit have at least 36 tigers and a good prey base for their survival. Chuka forest are situated on the bank of Sharda river in district Pilibhit. The Sharda Sagar dam on Sharda river forms Sharda Sagar reservoir which along with the forest areas present a beautiful landscape. The Sal forests which are known for their rich biodiversity are home to various species of birds and animals. These forests offer an opportunity to renew your ties with nature. The major attractions are Wildlife Safari - 1) Water Reservoir, 2) Boating, 3) Photography Adventure, 4) Bird Watching and 5) Nature Trail.

Post breakfast drive to Dudhwa (110kms 2-3hrs drive) - Arrive at Dudhwa by Noon - Check-in Forest Rest House - Post Lunch enjoy the Afteroon Safari at Kisanpur - Explore the wild sal forest of Kishanpur WLS at a distance of 49 km from Dudhwa FRH - Tea at the Resort and rest of day till Dinner at disposal - Later Dinner and overnight at Resort. (B,L,D). Kisanpur WLS - The Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary is a part of the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve near Mailani in Uttar Pradesh. Kishanpur Wild Life Sanctuary, a four and a half hour drive from Lucknow, is 13 km away from Bhira town in Lakhimpur Kheri District. Spread in a compact area of 200 sq Km, it is part of Dudhwa Tiger Reserve, covering an area of 227 km2 (88 sq mi) of terai forest and meadows and was founded in 1972. It is home to Tigers, Leopards, Pythons, Barking Deer, Ghariyal, Wild Boar and Swamp Deers. Located some 30 kms from Dudhwa National Park, this sanctuary spreads over 203 sq kms and lies along the banks of the Sharada. The forests of Dudhwa National Park and Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary are not contiguous and there is agricultural land in between. Kishanpur's vegetation resembles Dudhwa's, with dense riparian forests and moist deciduous trees like sal, teak and jamun. The open meadows dotted with tals and perennial streams, attract a variety of animals and birds. An enviable 450 resident and migratory bird species visit Dudhwa Tiger Reserve and plenty of these can be spotted at Jhadi Tal, the premier waterbody of the Kishanpur sanctuary. The red-crested pochard, mallard, dabchick, grebe, common pochard, pintail, shoveller, river tern, the white-eyed pochard, spoonbill, egret, snakebird, heron, black-necked stork and many other avian species frequent the tal. Visitors have frequently spotted herds of chital, barasingha, or playful otters prancing about Jhadi Tal. It is the tiger that is often elusive and although Sharada Beat, around Jhadi Tal, is a known hotspot, a glimpse of this majestic striped cat is entirely a matter of chance.

Pre-breakfast at 05:30 hrs we shall set out for a morning Jeep/Tiger Safari through the interiors of Dudhwa Exploring the wild sal forest of Dudhwa, tracing tigers and other wildlife OR visit the Rhino area preferably on Elephant back - Back to Resort for Breakfast - Post Breakfast at leisure or own activities - Lunch will be served at the resort - Post Lunch yet another jungle visit on Open Jeeps - Back to Resort for tea - Later Dinner and overnight at Resort.(B, L, D) Dudhwa National Park - From dense forests and mosaic grasslands to muddy marshes, the topography of Dudhwa National Park, is as varied as the wildlife population it has. Being a tiger reserve since the year 1879, the region of Dudhwa became a popular National Park during 1977 and acquired the project Tiger during 1988. Dudhwa National park is situated in Uttar Pradesh, covering the areas of Kheri and Lakhimpur districts. This region comes under the sub Himalayan area called as Terai belt. This Terai region is acknowledged as the most endangered ecosystems throughout the world. The park is also lying nearby the Indo-Nepal boundary having together the two most enchanting sanctuaries of the region called, Katerniaghat and Kishanpur wildlife sanctuaries to embody the beautiful greenery and forest area across the Terai region. Covering a huge land area of 811 square kilometer inspiring the nature enthusiasts with grasslands, dense forests and marshes, this park is actually known for magnificent counts of the presence of tiger and swamp deer species. The land of the park is comprised of a diverse alluvial plain beside the streams of Suheli and Mohana, scattered with enormous lakes, pools and rivulets. The affluent and completely fertile plains of Indo-Ganges support a marvelous development of the forests assortment of fauna. Dudhwa Tiger Reserve also has some of the best forest area of Saal trees in the globe, in the midst of other flora. This park is a virtual undiscovered heaven for bird watchers, wildlife enthusiast's and natural lovers.
